Paper 2A (B.Arch) Syllabus

  • Mathematics: Same as Paper 1 (Units 1-14)
  • Aptitude Test (Part II): Awareness of persons, buildings, materials, objects, texture; visualizing 3D objects from 2D drawings; analytical reasoning.
  • Aptitude Test (Unit 2): 3D perception, scale and proportion, design and drawing, transformation of forms, creating 2D/3D compositions.
  • Drawing Test (Part III): Sketching scenes from memory of urbanscape, landscape, and rural life.

Paper 2B (B.Planning) Syllabus

  • Mathematics & Aptitude: Same as B.Arch
  • Planning Unit 1 (General Awareness): General knowledge about cities, development issues, government programs.
  • Planning Unit 2 (Social Sciences): Nationalism, industrialization, resources, human settlements, constitution, economy, poverty, urbanization.
  • Planning Unit 3 (Thinking Skills): Comprehension, map reading, critical reasoning, charts/graphs/tables, basic statistics.
